Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust therapy programs that incorporate evidence-based practices to optimize recovery for various patient demographics.
• Perform hands-on therapeutic treatments, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training, ensuring alignment with the prescribed plans of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on exercises and techniques to enhance rehabilitation and prevent future injuries, fostering a comprehensive approach to recovery.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, utilizing digital tools to streamline communications with the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with will encompass a diverse population, including orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries or sports injuries, pediatric patients with developmental challenges, seniors requiring rehabilitation after hospitalization, and individuals experiencing neurologic conditions. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
