Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. The workweek is structured Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, integrating relevant historical data and assessments to inform treatment strategies.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans to patients and their families, engaging them in setting realistic and achievable goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and techniques to promote healing and restore function.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting key findings and adjustments in their care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary.
• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning, providing clear instructions for follow-up care, and ensuring a smooth transition for patients post-therapy.
• Maintain efficient time management practices to meet productivity expectations, while ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and attentive care.
• Participate in departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing team performance and patient outcomes, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals.
• Stay abreast of continuing education opportunities, engage in professional development, and take part in mentoring students or new staff as needed.
• Promote an exceptional customer experience by actively listening to patient concerns and adapting care approaches as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.

• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice standards.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy practice, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience in specialized areas such as sports medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, or manual therapy techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
