Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks an Assistant 2's Teacher at The Little Apple. The Little Apple, Imagine’s 14th center, is opening in partnership with The City of New York as the first-ever, free child care program specifically created for municipal employees. Our center is a safe, nurturing, fun and friendly environment. We are seeking an experienced and creative professional looking to join a team providing the highest quality, educational childcare for working families. Participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum. Ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC guidelines. Effective communication with families, staff and board. Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities. Summary Requirements Qualifications: CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, preferred or in progress. 1-2 years of experience teaching children in an Early Childhood program preferred.
