Sales Specialist

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Sales Specialist.

Position Type: Full-time Contract, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 06-12months
Location: Rochester, NY 14610 (Onsite)

As a Sales Specialist, you will:

• The Sr. Associate, Sales Specialist will play an integral role within the Tactical Communications team, responsible for delivering mission critical tactical radio solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD).
• Sales Specialists directly support the Sales and Business Development (BD) organization by assisting with the development of technical requirements for small to mid-sized pursuits and providing formal responses to U.S. Government Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
• The successful candidate will effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage opportunities through the pre-sale process to rochesooking. Contributions in this role are crucial to meeting AOP objectives and delivering essential equipment to the warfighter.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate directly with customers to tailor communications solutions to their unique requirements.
• Assist prime contractors with U.S. Government RFQ/RFP responses for Tactical equipment.
• Review technical configurations for accuracy and recommend alternative products when necessary.
• Coordinate material asset requisitions for field teams.
• Provide technical guidance to end-users and system integrators.
• Organize and initiate product demonstrations.
• Maintain product forecast accuracy to effectively drive factory demand.
• Support Program Managers in the delivery of major program initiatives as needed.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in a sales or customer-facing role
• U.S. Military experience
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50 to $55/per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
