PL/SQL Developer

$65 - $68 per hour

Immediate need for a talented PL/SQL Developer . This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) . Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Write efficient SQL queries and tune performance for large datasets.
Work with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform data analysis, data validation, and troubleshooting of production issues.
Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and batch processing.
Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to banking compliance standards.
Support production deployments and release activities.
Monitor and manage AutoSys job schedules, troubleshoot job failures, and ensure successful batch processing.
Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC best practices.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Strong experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
Hands-on experience with AutoSys job scheduling and monitoring.
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
Strong Shell Scripting skills (Korn/Bash preferred).
Experience in SQL query and PL/SQL performance tuning.
Ability to debug production issues in batch processing environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Banking or financial domain experience.
Experience with large-scale enterprise database systems.
Knowledge of job scheduling and workload automation tools.
Basic understanding of version control tools (Git, SVN).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
