Purchasing Manager LHH is assisting a mission-driven healthcare organization in San Rafael, CA who is seeking a Purchasing Manager with 4-6 years of solid experience to lead procurement operations across a multi-site clinical environment. This individual will oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with healthcare and nonprofit regulations. This role is highly collaborative, partnering with both clinical and administrative teams to ensure the organization has the supplies, equipment, and services needed to support patient care. You'll play a key role in improving purchasing processes, optimizing vendor performance, and leveraging group purchasing organizations to maximize value. We're looking for someone with strong procurement and vendor management experience, a strategic mindset around cost savings, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Healthcare or nonprofit experience is a plus. Responsibilities: Procurement Management Vendor & Contract Management Cost Analysis & Financial Oversight Compliance & Policy Administration Reporting & Documentation Process Improvements & Training Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, healthcare administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 46 years of progressively responsible purchasing experience, preferably in a healthcare, clinical, or nonprofit environment. Experience managing contracts, negotiating pricing, and working with GPOs strongly preferred. Salary range: $102,000$120,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
