Corporate Accountant
Location: Foster City, CA
Hybrid: In office Tuesday–Thursday; remote option Monday and Friday. Option to also work in their Oakland office one day out of the 3 days onsite.
Salary: $80,000–$100,000

We’re partnering with a well-established large real estate firm in the Bay Area that is looking to hire a Corporate Accountant.

This is a great opportunity for an accountant who enjoys a mix of corporate accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
2. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close
3. Handle intercompany billing, allocations, receivables, and reimbursements
4. Assist with financial reporting for multiple corporate entities
5. Track restricted funds and related expenses
6. Prepare management reports and financial schedules
7. Support annual audits and tax return preparation
8. Maintain and improve internal accounting controls and processes
9. Partner with internal departments and provide ad hoc accounting support

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
2. 2+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience
3. Strong understanding of GAAP
4. Intercompany and consolidation experience preferred
5. Real estate, property accounting, or partnership accounting experience is a plus
6. Depreciation, General Ledger, Prepaid, and Reconciliation  
7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
8. CPA is a plus, but not required
