Role Overview

We are looking for a Corporate Controller to own accounting, reporting, and financial operations at DeepInfra. Our business combines high-volume, usage-based revenue with large, long-term infrastructure commitments - GPUs, data center colocation, power, and compute capacity - and you'll build the accounting foundation that keeps both accurate, auditable, and ready to scale.

You'll own the global close, lead audit and tax readiness, build an enterprise-grade financial systems stack, and establish the accounting policies and controls needed as the business grows. You'll work closely with our co-founders, Engineering, and Finance. We're looking for someone technically strong in accounting, highly organized, comfortable operating across both detail and strategy, and excited to build.

What You'll Do

Financial Close & General Ledger

• Global Close: Own the global accounting close process and continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and close cycle time.

Consumption & Usage-Based Revenue Accounting

• Automated Reconciliations: Partner with Engineering to build robust, automated reconciliations between Stripe and invoicing systems, metered token databases, and deferred revenue schedules.

Hardware, Lease & Infrastructure Accounting

• Infrastructure Policies: Establish accounting policies and schedules for major infrastructure spend, including GPU purchases, long-term data center colocation agreements, power commitments, and cloud compute capacity reservations.

Audit & Tax Readiness

• Financial Statement Audits: Lead the preparation and execution of independent financial statement audits, starting with our first-year audit.
• Tax Compliance: Manage corporate tax filings, R&D tax credit studies, sales and use tax compliance across U.S. states and international jurisdictions, and transfer pricing.

Financial Systems Architecture

• ERP Implementation: Lead the implementation of and migration to an enterprise-grade ERP (e.g., NetSuite), integrating billing pipelines (Stripe/Orb/Metronome), accounts payable automation, and payroll systems.

Treasury & Working Capital

• Cash & Banking: Oversee cash management, banking relationships, corporate card programs, and accounts payable.
• Working Capital: Manage working capital with a focus on large infrastructure vendor commitments and disbursements.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Controls & Governance: Design, document, and enforce financial internal controls and governance policies appropriate for a fast-scaling technology company preparing for enterprise procurement diligence and SOC 1/SOC 2 reviews.

What You Bring

• Experience: 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, with meaningful ownership of accounting operations in a high-growth or complex business environment. Public accounting and technology company experience are strong pluses.
• Technical Accounting: Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842. Experience with usage-based, consumption, or prepaid revenue models is a strong plus.
• Global Accounting: Experience managing accounting across multiple entities, jurisdictions, or currencies, including consolidation and intercompany activity.
• Audit & Controls: Experience leading or supporting financial statement audits and designing scalable internal controls and accounting processes.
• Infrastructure Accounting: Experience with fixed assets, leases, CapEx, or other significant long-term commitments; experience in infrastructure or another capital-intensive business is a plus.
• Systems Builder: Experience implementing, migrating, or significantly improving ERP and financial systems, with the ability to partner effectively with technical teams on systems and data integrations.
• Builder Mentality: Comfortable operating hands-on in an evolving environment - building processes where they don't yet exist while creating the foundation for a finance organization that can scale.

Compensation

The base pay range for this role is $200,000 - $290,000 per year.
