Patient Intake Specialist

Job Description Patient Intake Specialist LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Patient Intake Specialist for our healthcare client located in the Chandler area. This role will be 100% onsite and a contract-to-hire opportunity working full-time hours. This role will be focused on assisting our client's patients in processing incoming referrals, insurance verification, updating patient demographics, completing patient registration, and ensuring patient orders are accurate and complete. This will be a heavy inbound phone position, and interested candidates must feel comfortable taking a high-volume of phone calls each day. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years patient intake/insurance verification/referral experience required Must be proficient working with Microsoft Office and EMR Systems Bilingual English/Spanish desired (not required) Skills Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills Able to work well within a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks throughout the day Can work well independently and meet production metrics as given outlined by management Able to work well in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines when needed Bilingual English/Spanish desired Ability to work well within multiple software systems, including Microsoft Office Pay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour Search managed by: Jennifer Andrews Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
