Job Description Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys within a fast‑paced litigation practice. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Provide day‑to‑day administrative and legal support to assigned litigation attorneys. Serve as a point of contact by professionally answering calls, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries as appropriate. Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondence, including formatting, proofreading, and distribution. Review incoming materials and route correspondence, pleadings, and reports to appropriate parties. Draft routine letters and legal documents based on attorney direction. Coordinate meetings, depositions, and conferences, including scheduling court reporters, expert witnesses, and other third parties. Manage attorney calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain accurate docketing of filings and appearances. Assist with electronic filing in various courts and maintain organized electronic and physical files. Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other external parties in a professional and timely manner. Support billing activities, including time entry review, expense submissions, and invoice preparation. Ensure sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately at all times. Assist with special assignments and projects as needed to support the legal team. Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant Prior experience working in a personal injury law firm or legal environment, supporting litigation attorneys. Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and law firm workflows. Experience with electronic court filing systems. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
