Quality Inspector

Title: QC Inspector Reports to: QC Manager Coordinates with: Molding Room/Warehouse Position Type: Full Time – 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday – Non-Exempt Hours: 10:30pm - 7:00am Pay: $19.25 - $23.10 per hour 3rd Shift Pay Differential: $2.00 per hour Job Characteristics First piece inspections In Process Inspections Final Inspections and Tests Reject Non Conforming Material Provide status updates and any quality issues with other shift inspectors Accurately document inspection results Maintain appropriate records and data Communicate any quality or process issues with supervisor Review quality requirements with each operator at the beginning of your shift Complete inspection status worksheet General knowledge of using gauges, tools used in inspection process Perform Receiving Inspections Knowledge of gauges and measuring devices Communicate with employees running jobs and explain any issues they may have regarding quality/count/packaging to meet customer standards Assist with inventory counts Assist with Safety issues Other duties and responsibilities may be required and may change at any time with or without notice Disinfect work area daily Required Skills Must have a propensity for thoroughness and be detailed oriented Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Selfmotivated and comfortable setting own work priorities Computer familiarity, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and ERP (Macola) Written and verbal English communication skills Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe work environment Adherence to attendance policy Adherence to Cell Phone policy Required Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent On the Job Training Preferred Skills Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
