RESRG Automotive is looking for a Safety Coordinator to join our team in Evansville, IN ! In this role, you will provide the technical knowledge and expertise needed to maintain a safe and productive workplace. What You Will Do Partner with the Operations team to develop solutions, methods, and processes to reduce the overall risk profile of the facility Drive the follow-up and closure of EH&S action plans from activities such as audits and regional priorities Prepare various EH&S reports, including collection and review of metrics on a monthly or as-needed basis Conduct and review safety audits, hazard assessments and hazardous waste inspections Guide and participate in company safety team meetings, activities, and inspections Act as a liaison to all team members to help with employee safety issues or concerns Assist with managing site risks including facilitating risk assessments, job safety analyses, and PPE assessments Help in developing employee environmental, health and safety training programs Aid incident investigations, root cause analysis, and determining corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Health and safety experience working in a manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's degree in safety, environmental, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications) Experience leading and developing safety initiatives and programs This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
