Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a Laboratory Assistant. This is a contract (W-2) role in Morrisville, NC. The Laboratory Assistant supports senior lab staff and engineers by processing samples, running tests, and recording and analyzing results. The role has a strong focus on wireless radio testing.

What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field

• Experience with wireless radio testing

• Good understanding of laboratory information systems and general laboratory equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions

• Comfortable using computer systems and software to input, extract, and analyze data

• Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement

What You'll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)

• Process lab samples and perform tests using general laboratory equipment, following defined test plans and datasheets

• Build or adapt basic test setups and equipment, and handle routine care of test equipment and the work area

• Record, read, and interpret test results, and prepare charts, graphs, and reports that explain them

• Review test data with your supervisor, and report findings to engineers and laboratory technicians

• Examine customer samples, and communicate with customers during setup and operation so testing is evaluated properly

• Keep building your knowledge of lab methods, instrumentation, and systems while following all code of conduct and physical and digital security practices

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
