First American is seeking an energetic and detail‑oriented Escrow Assistant to join our collaborative, in‑office team in Solvang, California. In this role, you will support an experienced and fun escrow team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, helping keep transactions moving, providing outstanding service to customers, and playing an important role in helping buyers and sellers successfully reach the closing table. What You’ll Do Support the escrow process by opening orders, entering closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, and assisting with disbursement and post‑closing follow‑up Communicate regularly with customers and internal partners throughout the escrow process Review and interpret agreements and instructions related to escrow closings Use a variety of technologies and systems to support accurate and efficient transactions Help deliver a seamless, professional, and positive experience for every customer Partner closely with the escrow team to manage priorities and keep transactions moving forward What You’ll Bring A passion for helping customers and providing exceptional service A professional, positive, and team‑oriented approach Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through The ability to problem‑solve, manage multiple priorities, and remain composed in a fast‑paced environment Natural curiosity and an eagerness to learn and grow Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new software and technology High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years of escrow‑related experience preferred Pay Rate: $20.30 - $30.00 Hourly First American will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in a manner consistent with applicable state and local laws (for example, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act).
