Staff in this role are responsible for managing others, monitoring ongoing progress towards all aspects of formal reporting for HEDIS and similar clinical metrics for state reporting requirements. Additionally, this role is responsible for resolution of complex issues related to quality metrics, working with external vendors as needed on solutions and communicating results to stakeholder groups. This role reports to the Associate Director, QSD Quality Reporting OperationsYou’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Management of staffSet team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of own teamPerform oversight of all QPA activities, monitor performance and ensure compliance with business requirements and job responsibilitiesGuide professional development of the QPA team, to include addressing performance concerns and issuesEnsure appropriate staffing levels; interview, hire, and onboard QPA staff as neededInterview, hire, onboard and manage contractor staff as neededLead analysis of project outcomes to generate data driven recommendations for process improvementMonitor on-going progress of business processesMonitor compliance against relevant process requirements (e.g., turnaround time)Ensure all NCQA, CHCA, FEHB, State and other HEDIS reporting requirements and deadlines are metDemonstrate understanding of relevant organizations' operations, products and applications, strategies, processes, and/or business priorities in order to build effective solutions including development of project plans (e.g., communication plans; implementation steps) to support operations using relevant tools and databasesAdapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challengesDevelop policies, procedures, and guidelines for Quality Reporting Operations activitiesReview/approve policy and process changesEvaluate regulatory changes and determine steps needed to implement in programs Identify and implement business development opportunities to support growth of department and achieve objectivesOversee/navigate technology and software applications utilized in the delivery of servicesInfluence or provide input to forecasting and planning activitiesProduct, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external)Analyze business process information (e.g., metrics; The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900.
