Location: Pittsfield, MA

Start Date: 08-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients, including those on mechanical ventilation and requiring hemodynamic monitoring
• Monitor and manage ICP, interpret vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status with confidence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to PCU as needed to ensure seamless patient coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse and adhere to all facility protocols
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes

Qualifications

• 2 years of current Critical Care experience required
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current NIHSS certification
• Willingness to float and ability to travel (own vehicle required)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in critical care nursing, including vent management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with ICP monitoring and neurological assessments
• Comfortable with Meditech Expanse EMR (strongly preferred)
• TNCC certification preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
