As a Security Officer Unarmed Security Clearance Patrol in Carson, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through the appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and/or approved vendors.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, and/or incident details, and communicate relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
