Acute Care Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide care in an acute care environment, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery for patients with various conditions. Ideal candidates should possess a strong background in acute care settings and be able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop treatment plans for patients in acute care.
• Implement and modify treatment interventions based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required.
• Current valid state license as a Physical Therapist required.
• Experience with a variety of patient diagnoses, including neurological and orthopedic conditions.
• BLS certification required.
