Associate Therapist

Join Our Team as an Associate Therapist! We are seeking a passionate Associate Therapist to join our growing team. This part‑time, hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home and time in the office, providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a difference in the mental health field. As an Associate Therapist, you’ll work approximately 25 hours per week, balancing client interactions and administrative tasks, all within a supportive and positive work environment. Our mission is to assist individuals, couples, and families in overcoming mental health challenges through a holistic approach, and we are committed to making mental health support accessible to everyone. Responsibilities Highly independent position with weekly supervision Work with integrity, honesty, and a passion for making a difference Collaborate with a positive attitude and continue learning to improve as a therapist Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized psychotherapy to adults and/or children Trained in at least one evidence‑based therapy (EBT), such as CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, or any other EBP Complete all clinical notes within 24 hours Qualifications Associate number and completion of 1000 clinical hours required (exceptions can be made based on experience) AMFT/ASW/APCC, with a passion for working with children, teens, and adults Ability to identify risk factors for mandated reporting Previous therapy experience required Experience with evidence‑based treatment methods DMH experience preferred Experience with diagnosis, safety plans, and consulting with DCFS is preferred Spanish‑speaking is a plus Team player with a positive attitude Honesty, integrity, compassion, and empathy Must be a CA resident and licensed in California Compensation $35 - $42 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr Center for Thoughtful Lasting Change, Inc.
