Job Summary: 

The primary responsibility of the IT Assistant
for Consolidated Admin Services is to represent Consolidated Admin Services in providing support for web design, IT help desk operations, employee set-up and take-down and general technical assistance. The ideal candidate will have a mix of creative, problem-solving, and technical skills to contribute to both web projects and IT support needs.
The IT Assistant
is an integral part of Consolidated Admin Services providing superior service to our clients and participants.

This is NOT a remote position. The position will be in On-Site at Springdale, AR 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential function of the job satisfactorily. This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of company websites and web applications. 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure web content is current, visually appealing, and user-friendly. 

• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and cross-platform compatibility. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web functionality and hosting. 

• Provide first-level technical support to staff, responding to hardware, software, and network-related issues. 

• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other IT equipment. 

• Assist with account setup, password resets, and access permissions. 

• Document and track IT issues and resolutions through the ticketing system. 

• Maintain and update hardware and software inventory. 

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers and networks. 

• Perform routine maintenance and updates for systems to ensure security and functionality. 

• Train staff on basic IT tools, software, and best practices as needed. 

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus. 

• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva) are advantageous. 

• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. 

• Familiarity with IT tools and systems such as Windows OS, macOS, and common office software. 

• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and tools. 

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. 

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

• Team player, with a proactive approach to learning and support. 

• Office-based position. The candidate must be able to provide remote IT support to both CAS office locations, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues at the opposite office when needed. 

• May require occasional lifting of IT equipment and on-site support at other locations. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred 

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or web design (entry-level candidates with relevant coursework or certifications will be considered). 

• Customer Service experience preferred 

• E-mail management and file management 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Excellent attention to detail skills 
• Presents a professional image 
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others
