Lateral Associate - Tax

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Lateral Associate to join its Tax Group in New York, New York. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a tax practice at a comparable law firm. This role is designed for experienced lawyers, and current law students are not eligible. Duties Advise on tax matters in complex corporate transactions. Collaborate with other practice areas such as M&A and Capital Markets. Develop innovative tax planning solutions. Provide ongoing advice and follow-up post-closing. Requirements Minimum of two years of experience in a tax practice at a law firm. Experience with high-profile transactions preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
