Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessment information, and determine care issues to inform the plan of care.
- Develop and implement a care plan, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe, healing environment.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes; adjust plans as needed; collaborate with the patient, family, and treatment team.
- Supervise and direct duties of various levels of nursing staff; delegate appropriately and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
- Provide patient and family education; participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.

Requirements
- Current California RN license (active)
- BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
- ACLS certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
- PALS certification from an approved vendor per facility policy
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg/acute care experience
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and meet the shift/weekend requirements
