Senior Project Manager I

Senior Project Manager – Columbus Office We are seeking an experienced professional to lead revenue generation and project execution for our new office in Columbus, Ohio. The role blends autonomy with close collaboration alongside construction experts in a leading industry brand. Primary Responsibilities Lead all aspects of revenue generation and project execution for the Columbus office. Obtain new clients through strategic marketing efforts in partnership with the regional Business Development team. Organize and manage project teams, assignments, and schedules. Build effective relationships to drive repeat clients and inspire team member retention. Negotiate and finalize the scope and terms of each project. Resolve complex technical issues as they arise. Identify risk exposures and their magnitude. Develop project estimates, bids, and proposals on a timely and efficient basis. Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented. Perform all other duties as necessary to support company objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Seven to ten years of experience in project management within construction, restoration, and/or property insurance related fields. Ability and willingness to travel +/- 25% of the workweek, including 2‑3 team leader events per year. Desire to work in a fast‑paced, in‑person environment. Experience with Xactimate, RS Means, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera, and MS Projects preferred. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Technically astute with strong problem‑solving abilities. Self‑directed and capable of effective team leadership while maintaining professionalism. Working Conditions The role requires site visits to property damage locations, including elevated areas such as roofs or scaffolding. Work may involve evening, overnight, and weekend travel. Required safety gear and PPE will be provided. Physical Requirements Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, and handle weights up to 50 pounds, including a ladder. Close visual acuity for detailed inspections and report preparation.
