Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for two dedicated Special Education professionals to work onsite with small co-taught groups at primary and middle school levels from August 19, 2026, through June 4, 2027. This position offers meaningful engagement with students in an inclusive environment designed for personalized support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching certification appropriate to assigned grade levels
• Experience in co-taught settings or inclusive classrooms preferred
• Confidence working with small group caseloads (fewer than 10 students per group)
• Ability to collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and support teams
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to nurturing student achievement
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet various learning needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Co-teach grades 3–4 at the primary school and grades 7–8 at the middle school
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a supportive, positive classroom climate that celebrates diversity and empowers learners
• Track and document student progress, partnering with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through tailored strategies and intervention
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and contribute to school initiatives

This full-time contract features a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 37.5 hours weekly. You’ll work in a close-knit school community with manageable groups, providing authentic opportunities to make a lasting impact.
