Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Guided Grace Psychiatry, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients and devise suitable treatment plans. Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual client goals and requirements. Providing individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing agnostic therapeutic techniques to help clients navigate their emotional challenges and improve their overall well-being. Collaborating with a diverse interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care, sharing insights, and working collectively on treatment strategies. Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Participating in regular clinical supervision and engaging in professional development activities and training to stay updated with industry best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a varied clientele that may include individuals facing anxiety disorders, major mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and addictive behaviors. Your role is vital in providing tailored support and guidance, helping clients to develop coping strategies, build resilience, and foster emotional well-being. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. A Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field obtained from an accredited institution. Demonstrated experience in conducting individual and group therapy, particularly in clinical settings. Strong familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods applicable to diverse mental health treatment contexts. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a sense of trust and safety. Effective written and verbal communication abilities, crucial for client interaction and documentation. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience are preferred: Two or more years of relevant counseling experience in a private practice or mental health care setting. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
