New PSA Service Sales Representative

Job Summary Johnson Controls is a global leader in thermal management and building systems. We are seeking a Service Sales Representative to promote and sell service agreements for commercial building products, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound and communication systems, and inspections. Responsibilities Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products. Establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers of service contracts, and schedule sales calls. Follow up leads and use outlined marketing strategies to build a positive ongoing relationship with customers. Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to communicate company service offerings. Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives. Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that supports achieving the designed sales plan. Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates. Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales‑related activities. Submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of selling service or intangible/technical products. Proven experience in prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and closing deals. Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction, where performance is measured by meeting quota numbers. Professional communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills. Proficient in the use of personal computers, including Windows operating systems and Oracle systems. Ability and willingness to work as a teammate and to collaborate with others. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline. Industry or related industry experience. Salesforce proficiency. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $44,500 – $66,850. This role includes a competitive sales incentive plan based on volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. Benefits include 15 days of paid vacation in the first year, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage available day one, 401(k), and other typical benefits.
