Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Saw Operator Responsibilities:

- Operate rip saw machinery to cut lumber to specified widths and dimensions

- Read and interpret cut lists, production schedules, and work orders

- Inspect lumber for defects and determine the best cutting pattern to maximize material yield

- Monitor product quality and verify dimensions using measuring tools

- Perform routine machine adjustments and minor maintenance

Requirements for Saw Operator:

- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Previous manufacturing, woodworking, or saw operation experience is preferred but not required

- Ability to read a tape measure accurately

- Basic math skills and attention to detail

- Ability to safely operate industrial machinery after training

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to quality

- Ability to stand for extended periods

- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds

- Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift

- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to wood dust, machinery noise, and varying temperatures

- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear
