Automotive Sales Consultant- AM Ford

We're looking for an Automotive Sales Consultant to join our new car sales team! The right person will have a passion for sales, enjoy working with people, and be motivated by the opportunity to build relationships and earn based on performance.

No automotive sales experience? If you can sell, follow up, and hustle, we'll train you.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Pay: $55,000-$120,000

What You'll Do

• Guide customers through the entire buying process, from the first hello through delivery, while making the experience honest, straightforward, and enjoyable
• Learn the Ford lineup, including vehicle features, towing and payload capabilities, financing options, and how each vehicle fits a customer's needs
• Follow up consistently with leads, past customers, and internet inquiries to build your pipeline and generate repeat business
• Coordinate test drives, appraisals, and trade-ins
• Meet and exceed monthly sales and gross profit goals
• Maintain an organized CRM and keep your pipeline full
• Represent AM Ford in the community with professionalism and integrity
• Review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance to identify opportunities for improvement
• Follow dealership procedures for test drives, including obtaining proper identification

What We're Looking For

• Sales experience preferred, but automotive sales experience is not required
• A motivated closer with a positive attitude and genuine hustle
• Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and coachable
• Comfortable working with technology, including CRM systems, digital retailing tools, texting, and email
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
• A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• A team player who is enthusiastic about helping customers and achieving results
