Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at Lake Placid Health & Rehab, a 180-bed skilled nursing facility in Lake Placid, FL. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their maximum potential by providing evidence-based physical therapy services in a warm and inviting environment.

About the Role:

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiovascular conditions

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient

• Conduct thorough evaluations, assessments, and treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as needed

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress

Responsibilities:

• Treat patients with a variety of diagnoses and conditions

Requirements:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program

• Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Florida

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or related setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
