Production Assistant

Title Production Department Assistant, Women's and Men's (Apparel) Salary Range The anticipated base salary range for this position is $26 to $28 hourly. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. What You'll Be Responsible For The Production Department Assistant position will play a key role in organizing, coordinating, and processing seasonal information to vendors and management through the production process. The Production Department Assistant will help to align production team goals across the women's and men's business from an operational standpoint through organizing, coordinating, and processing seasonal reporting. Manage and consolidate all reporting required for COGs initiative - fob savings, freight savings, packing method savings, tariff participation, etc. Provide master recaps for all above initiatives to VP Seasonal and liability reports Partner with Production team members to pull data from system and compile seasonal reports Upkeep and add to reports including Year Over Year Recap, Vendor Recap, Warehouse Recap and open PO reports Validate Seasonal margin reports from system and audit for accuracy. Provide recap by division/programs as needed. Oversee current liability report and record of past liabilities Schedule monthly liability meetings between Merchandising, Planning and Production teams Submit month end final liability chart to Finance for review and approval Review and bring to legal team's attention any variances regarding OFAC and Supplier Affidavits for bulk qualities Coordinate with tech team to update seasonal label manuals as needed as well as BOM illustration and label placement to upload into the supplier portal Review with production team best shipping method for all programs and publish seasonal shipping method recap to logistics/tech design/production Assist with landing cost sheets as needed Distribute weekly Care Content Report Maintain and update the testing manual for garments and fabric Supply weekly in-transit report to Quality Assurance Maintain and update the quality assurance manual for garments and fabric Consolidate WIP status tracker report weekly and distribute to VP Department specialist for AX system, Bi reports, Airtable and Claude Work closely with IT to trouble shoot issues and discrepancies with system reports Train production team on running system reports Develop new reports as needed Create charts as needed by the VP of Production and/or Production team - and help update if needed Seasonal allocation and capacity by division/vendor Sustainability tracker all vendors Delivery improvement tracker per season per division Variance chart per division Vendor capacity and holiday dates per year Coordinate schedule for 3 rd party inspection service for team Review with each division/category manager to determine needs Notify 3 rd party service of the schedule 2 weeks in advanceTrack and file final inspections reports received from 3 rd party in shared drive Review invoices from 3 rd party for accuracy and track annual spend Manage calendar for VP of Production Submit expenses through Concur and track team expenses on chart Book travel arrangements and assist with trip itinerary Build PowerPoint presentations for management on key findings Assist in coordinating Production team vendor visits to LA Design Studio Duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience We're Looking For Four-year college degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in production/manufacturing or related apparel experience Experience in Excel, Word related program Experience in Airtable, AX and Power BI systems preferred Benefits At Vince Robust healthcare options for medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, and health savings account with employer funding 401(k) with employer match Generous paid time off plans for vacation, sick, and personal, volunteer time, as well as company holidays Hybrid and flexible work options available for roles that can be done remotely Clothing allowance & merchandise discounts $400 annual gym reimbursement Monthly data/phone stipend for eligible roles Mental health support tools and telehealth psychology and psychiatry Family and caregiving benefits including a competitive paid parental leave program as well as supplemental infertility coverage Life, accidental death & dismemberment, short-term disability, and long-term disability insurance Supplemental hospital indemnity, specified disease, and accident coverage Pre-tax commuter benefits including transit and parking Discounted pet, home & auto, and legal insurance V Opco, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any applicant or employee because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, age, or military or veteran status or any other status protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
