Client Service Manager

Job Overview The Client Service Manager at TELUS Health leads client relationship and project management for Defined Benefits (DB) clients, ensuring satisfaction through periodic meetings and collaborative work with sales, record‑keeping, and operations teams. Responsibilities Maintain and enhance relationships with new and existing DB clients, ensuring client satisfaction through periodic meetings and discussions. Collaborate closely with sales, record‑keeping and operations associates, and participate in sales final presentations as needed. Serve as the overall liaison for client relationships while record‑keeping operations handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks. Participate in business‑wide projects to drive successful outcomes. Implement and maintain robust project management practices, including timely status updates, documented stakeholder communications, clear milestone tracking, risk management, deliverable management, and knowledge transfer. Qualifications B.A. or B.S. degree required, or equivalent retirement industry work experience. Minimum three years of relationship management or plan administration experience. Defined Benefit (DB) experience. Project Management experience. Knowledge and understanding of the Pension Industry and competitive environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as a team player. Proven prioritization and organizational skills. Strong commitment to timing and quality standards. Ability to identify and facilitate issue resolution. Proven ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to react to change in a positive and productive manner. Ability to handle other essential tasks as assigned. Nice to have Professional designations (advanced degrees or retirement designations). Advanced leadership training (formal leadership development or management certification programs). Established relationships within the US benefits and HR community. Understanding of compliance requirements in benefits administration. Salary Salary range: $71,600 – $80,000 USD annually. Total compensation will be determined based on knowledge, skills, performance and experience. Benefits Comprehensive total rewards package, competitive salary and bonus structures.
