Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Neurosurgery Location: Boston, MA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 13 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Description We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient Pediatric Neurosurgery coverage in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a scheduled, no-call opportunity offering 3 × 13-hour shifts per week , with no night or holiday coverage required. Job Responsibilities Provide inpatient pediatric neurosurgical patient care. Round with the resident team and establish daily patient care plans. Evaluate patients and determine those requiring direct clinical assessment. Review and enter patient orders. Manage inpatient care and coordinate treatment plans. Assist with patient discharge planning and discharge orders. Monitor postoperative patients and provide ongoing clinical management. Remove Hemovac and JP drains when appropriate. Work collaboratively with residents, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team. No OR responsibilities ; APPs focus exclusively on patient care. Document patient encounters using Epic EMR . Working Hours Start Date: September 7, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 3 × 13-hour shifts per week Hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM No nights No holidays No call Weekend coverage may be included as part of the 3-shift weekly schedule. Experience with postoperative drain management preferred. Strong inpatient clinical assessment and patient-management skills.
