Job PostingSchedule:Call coverage needed, ongoing as soon as credentialed.No specific dates are provided until provider has accepted an offer.Friday, Saturday, Sunday, some vacation weekday call coverage 6a-6aDetails:Hospital based100% Adult10-15 hospital-based patients on average per dayPPD: 1-2 Admissions, 8-10 ICU, 1-2 Surgeries400 Total number of beds12 ICU Beds2 Physicians in practice, 5 Mid-levelsReason for coverage: change in staffing, looking to backfillLevel 1 traumaEMR: Epic2 PhysiciansRequired to supervise and provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.No other thoracic surgeons will be present during locum call coverage.Conversion/perm fee placement cap $25K90 day credentialing timeframeRequired Procedures:General CV/Thoracic Surgery - openCoronary artery bypass surgery - on pump & Off-pumpCongenital defects (ASD < VSD, PFO, etc.)Valvular Repair & replacementAneurysm Repair - Cardiac & Aorto-thoracicECMO Cannulation and Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.Preferred Procedures:Evaluation and management of acute vol /BP issuesInsertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter, IABPSubmission RequirementsALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE DISCLOSED AT NAME CLEAR TO BE CONSIDERED AND AVOID BEING REDIRECTED!!Board Certified (Cardiovascular Surgery) - REQUIREDActive Colorado License or Active IMLC - REQUIREDMust note provider is able to perform all required procedures - REQUIREDCandidates must be able to perform heart surgery - focus on cardiac cases - REQUIRED (note years of experience at time of name clear)Dissections (with proof of recent case logs to back up) - REQUIREDStrong surgical case volume - REQUIREDActive ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) - REQUIRED,Clean background/no malpractice - REQUIREDCOVID vaccinated - REQUIRED, note at time of name clear
