Cox Communications is looking for a Bilingual Retail Sales Associate who creates those experiences; someone who connects easily with others and can drive sales while making customers feel special. The position is on-site at a specified Cox location, requires variable shift work, and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary. You will report to your Store Manager and work with the Assistant Store Manager and other team specialists. What You’ll Do Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer wants and needs Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention Assist with the opening and closing of the store retail environment Properly handle cash Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos Support fellow sales agents when needed Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area What’s In It for You? We offer a variable targeted total compensation of $51,726 (approximately $24.87 per hour). High earners, comprising the top 10%, can reach an average annual compensation of just over $66,753. Compensation includes a full time hourly base rate and monthly targeted commissions, with a ramp period of up to two months. Qualifications Minimum HS diploma/GED or up to 2 years of relevant work experience Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions based approach Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base Ability to multi task and prioritize in a fast paced, service oriented team environment Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to manage stock room inventory Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken Preferred Some college experience with a focus in sales, business, and/or management One year of experience in a related field such as sales, retail sales, service industry Experience selling wireless/mobile products Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
