Dietary Manager

Job Summary:

Nexus of Palos Hills is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team in Palos Hills, IL. As a key member of our healthcare facility, the Dietary Manager will oversee the daily operations of our dietary department, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and tray service

• Coordinate and supervise the work of dietary staff, including nurses, servers, and cooking staff

• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations, policies, and guidelines

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for food service operations

• Manage department budgets and inventory, making effective decisions to maintain cost control and efficiency

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and housekeeping, to ensure smooth integration of services and promote effective communication

• Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and develop training programs for dietary staff

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs related to food service operations, including patient diets, menu planning, and inventory management

Requirements:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 4

• Level of Education: High School, but preferd CDM/CFPP
