Principal Investigator/Bioanalytical Lead Scientist I- (LC-MS)

Labcorp seeks a Principal Investigator/Bioanalytical Lead Scientist I to direct LC-MS research projects and oversee method development and validation. The role involves managing external scientific programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as technical lead for clients in Madison, Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct scientific work for external methods and regulated/non-regulated studies
- Develop, review, and approve protocols and sample analysis plans
- Independently review and approve raw data and analytical reports
- Troubleshoot assay problems and manage scientific investigations
- Serve as technical point of contact for clients and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology
- 3+ years experience supporting lead scientific projects
- 2+ years GLP and LC-MS experience
- 2+ years bioanalytical method development and validation experience
- Master's degree in science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of Watson, Nautilus, and Analyst software preferred
- Strong communication, prioritization, and attention to detail
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000 annually
