Azure Solution Architect – Long-Term Contract

€650-700 per day | Remote with occasional onsite (EU-based candidates preferred)

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to join our client on a long-term contract. This role focuses on Azure cloud architecture, enterprise migrations, security, and automation , helping organizations drive digital transformation with Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise-Level Azure Architecture: Design and implement best practices for Azure cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs. Azure Migrations & Hybrid Cloud: Lead on-premises-to-Azure migrations, including VMs, applications, and databases . Identity & Access Management: Configure and manage Entra ID (Azure AD) , hybrid identity, and security policies. Networking & Security: Implement Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPNs) and security best practices. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates . Cost Optimization & Governance: Define Azure governance frameworks, FinOps strategies , and enforce best practices. Azure DevOps & Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (AKS), and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) . Troubleshooting & Support: Work closely with IT teams to resolve Azure-related issues and optimize cloud performance.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, infrastructure, and networking. Proven ability to migrate workloads from on-premises environments to Azure. Strong expertise in Entra ID (Azure AD), IAM, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) . Experience with Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel . IaC proficiency – Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and hybrid cloud solutions . DevOps & Automation – Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS), PowerShell, Python, Bash. Certifications preferred:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Soft Skills & Requirements

Clear communication – Ability to align with stakeholders, provide updates, and troubleshoot effectively. Collaboration mindset – Works well in a team, sharing knowledge and supporting peers. Proactive problem solver – Anticipates challenges and takes initiative to resolve them. International experience – Comfortable working in diverse, global teams. Languages: Fluent English required; German is a plus.
