Snapshot / Role Overview
We're looking for a Director of Human Resources in the Inland Empire to lead HR strategy for a multi-state industrial manufacturing business with more than 300 employees and aggressive growth plans.
Impact
- Shape HR strategy across multiple facilities.
- Drive retention, performance, and a consistent culture.
- Partner with executives on organizational design, succession, and compliance.
- Strengthen the employer brand through onboarding and training.
Responsibilities
- Lead employee relations, compliance, benefits, compensation, training, and talent acquisition.
- Oversee HR operations across California and out-of-state facilities.
- Advise leadership on employment law and policy.
- Manage and mentor the HR team.
- Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts fairly and legally.
- Run onboarding, retention, DEI, and offboarding programs.
- Administer self-funded insurance and benefits with cost control in mind.
- Maintain the HRIS and audit readiness.
Must-Haves
- Ten or more years of HR experience, including at least three in leadership.
- Multi-site experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Strong command of California and multi-state employment law.
Nice-to-Haves
- SHRM or HRCI certification.
- Experience with self-funded benefit plans.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Onsite in the Chino area.
