Role Description The Physician Assistant will work full-time on-site in our San Antonio, TX locations to provide high-quality medical care to patients with orthopaedic conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, assisting in surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, managing follow-up care, and providing patient education. The Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure effective and compassionate care delivery. Qualifications Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for musculoskeletal conditions Experience assisting in surgical procedures and managing pre-operative and post-operative care Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced on-site healthcare environment Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Previous experience in orthopaedics, sports medicine, or a related medical specialty is preferred Commitment to patient care and maintaining high ethical standards
