Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services team within a 150‑bed community hospital. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership for a team of 20+ associates, including hiring, training, coaching, and ongoing development Oversee daily operations of patient food services, ensuring alignment with clinical direction and patient population needs Establish service goals and drive execution to deliver a high‑quality patient dining experience Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and modified diets, aligning with physician orders while accommodating patient preferences Monitor and improve patient satisfaction scores, holding the team accountable to service standards Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including federal and state regulations, accrediting bodies, HIPAA, and patient rights policies Participate in and lead initiatives related to patient satisfaction, departmental collaboration, and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs Schedule & Structure Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend shift per month Responsibility for a 150‑bed acute care facility Direct oversight of 20+ team members Qualifications Associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in food service or a related field OR a bachelor’s degree in food service management, nutrition, or related discipline Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), Registered Diet Technician (DTR), or Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred Minimum of 1 year of food service management experience, ideally in an acute care environment ServSafe® certification preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and diet office systems Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance/ AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Paid Parental Leave Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Personal Leave Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
