Associate Clinical Specialist, Pelvic Health - San Francisco

Responsibilities Represent Medtronic Pelvic Health during surgeries and implants by providing all necessary equipment and products, demonstrating expertise in device selection, programming, implantation and testing. Maintain current knowledge of assigned products, services and competitive offerings. Identify needs for new and existing accounts and educate caregivers and account employees. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical aspects of products and therapies through one‑on‑one sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars and outside symposiums. Assist district manager and in‑house training department in delivery of training to new district employees. Provide sales support during or after cases, including completing documentation, executing invoices, and placing orders with customer service. Maintain open and effective communication with district personnel, customers and Medtronic employees. Contribute to milestones of regional and national projects. Understand all applicable quality policy and system items and follow work/quality procedures to ensure compliance. Qualifications Must Have: High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years in a clinical or medical sales role; Associate’s Degree with at least 2 years in a clinical or medical sales role; or Bachelor’s degree. Nice to Have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; clinical skill and knowledge (e.g., ability to conduct a trial, implant or refill a pump); experience with implantable neuromodulation products; experience servicing medical personnel on product use; experience in specialty areas such as urology, surgery, nursing, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, or home health care. Excellent communication skills and ability to coach others on product use and clinical applications. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; will drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory and may require overnight travel. Preference for local candidates and candidates with Medtronic experience. Vehicle & Travel Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory. Overnight travel may be required.
