Assistant Controller

Assistant Controller This is a full‑time hybrid position that will require you to be physically present in our Emeryville office a few days a week, with work from home possible on other days after your training period is complete. This position reports directly to the Controller and has the potential for long‑term growth. Duties & Responsibilities: General Ledger account reconciliations and review for accuracy/completeness Perform Bank reconciliations GAAP prepared Financials Statements Prepare financial trend & variance analyses and KPI reports as necessary Prepare workpapers and provide support with annual financial audit Fixed Asset tracking and depreciation calculation Prepare a variety of reports for federal, state, and local authorities such as sales tax, business & occupation tax, property tax, etc. Accounting and financial statements for related LLCs Train and supervise clerical staff Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required 3-4 years of work experience preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements required CPA certification or 2-3 years of work experience in an audit-related position a plus but not required Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Possess strong attention to detail and analytical and problem solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Pay: $125,000-$145,000, depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr The Agency Recruiting
