This position may require floating between different units. Weekends may be required based on facility needs. The expected patient ratios are 1:6. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of nursing experience. Charting experience using the Epic system is required. Travel experience is necessary for this role. The candidate should possess skills related to the management of patients with cerebrovascular accidents. Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment is essential. Experience with nasal cannulas, non-invasive airway management, and oxygen administration is required. Candidates should be adept in peripheral line care and management. Experience in pre/post neurosurgery care is preferred. Skills in handling patients with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries are necessary. Utilization of rapid response and code teams is expected. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Candidates must be flexible in scheduling and adhere to all requirements regarding time off. References covering experience in the past three years are needed. All candidates will undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
