Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid Compact license must be held at the time of submission Certifications: Required certifications Must-Have: - Previous charge experience of at least 2 years - Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic - Travel experience required Description: This position is for a first-time traveler in the Medical Surgical specialty. The nurse will float between units as necessary. Weekends will be required based on facility needs. Block scheduling is not required for this position. The expected patient ratios are 1:6. Travelers may be expected to float between facilities if required. The candidate must commit to working three of the five main holidays. All requests for time off must be made up-front during submission. Post submission time off requests may not be granted. Inflexibility regarding the schedule may lead to termination of the contract. References are required covering one year within the last three years. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an pre-arranged interview. Providers must be prepared to submit monthly cell phone bills if communication devices are not provided. Completion of any necessary modules is required prior to start and during orientation.
