About the Summer Analyst Position: As a summer analyst, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Summer Analysts may work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities may include: Quantitative analyses : you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python. Qualitative research : you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis. Preparation of reports : you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings. Team collaboration : you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work and have an opportunity to interact directly with clients. We seek candidates who are pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree focus in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects graduating in winter 2027 or summer 2028. The ideal candidate will possess: Strong quantitative and research skills , including analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; familiarity with AI tools; the ability to conduct targeted research to address client challenges; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset , with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting. A strong academic track record , with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered. Candidates who willrequirefuture visa sponsorship must have valid U.S. work authorization, such as F-1 CPTor J-1 Academic Training,for the duration of their internship and must also be pursuing a STEM-eligible degree. For such individuals,AnalysisGroup will provide certain administrativeimmigrationsupport during their internship, asappropriate underprevailing immigrationand firmpolicy. However, we do not offer sponsorshipfor internship positions. At the end of the internship, summer analysts will be evaluated for a full-time analyst offer in the office that their internship takes place. Should you receive and accept an offer to join Analysis Group full-time, we are invested in professional development and growth and provide multidimensional support for analysts who plan to apply to graduate school. After a few years with the firm, analysts often attend top M.B.A., J.D., Ph.D., or other advanced degree programs. Analysis Group provides financial sponsorship to high-performing analysts interested in pursuing a full-time degree and returning to Analysis Group, or a part-time degree while continuing to work at the firm. Analysts who join Analysis Group with advanced degrees have the opportunity to progress to the associate level and beyond. Summer Analysts are compensated at a weekly rate of $1,900 and may be eligible for certain benefits.
