Join us and become part of a mission-driven team advancing science and unlocking human potential—one discovery at a time.Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.The Sr. Manager, Pricing & Deal Desk is responsible for setting pricing strategy across Aldevron and IDT, guiding geography-specific pricing strategy, and establishing and managing a deal desk that supports price and discount negotiations. This role serves as a key business partner across Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Leadership teams to define how we price and position our offerings, enable fast and consistent deal decisions, and support revenue growth and profitability. The role will have one direct report, a Sr. Pricing Analyst, who supports analysis, reporting, and the development of pricing insights.This position reports to the Director, Pricing and Contracts, is part of the Commercial Excellence Organization, and is fully REMOTE. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Set pricing strategy and price positioning across the Aldevron and IDT portfolios, including guiding principles for annual price adjustments, balancing customer value, competitive dynamics, and profitable growth objectives.Guide geography-specific pricing strategy and market positioning, tailoring approaches to regional market dynamics, competitive landscapes, customer segments, and local requirements.Establish and manage a deal desk that provides structured support for pricing, discount, and non-standard deal requests, including approval structures, discount guardrails, and expert guidance on complex price and discount negotiations.Use pricing analytics, market intelligence, and deal data to assess margin realization, discounting behavior, and competitive positioning, translating insights into strategic recommendations for Leadership.Lead and develop the pricing function by coaching the Sr. Pricing Analyst and driving cross-functional alignment across Commercial, Finance, Product Management, and Operations on pricing strategy, processes, and supporting tools.The essential requirements of the job includeBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in analytics preferred.5+ years of experience in pricing, commercial operations, finance, contracts, sales operations, or a related business function.Experience developing pricing strategies, pricing models, discount governance, or commercial pricing programs.Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and/or Marketing stakeholders.Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data, financial analysis, and business insights to drive decision-making and process improvement.Travel Requirements:This position requires up to 15% flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Biotechnology, life sciences, CDMO, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.Pricing, CRM, ERP, CPQ, or commercial workflow systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies.Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
