California Market Sales Leader - Health Solutions

We have a unique opportunity for a California Market Sales Leader in our Health Solutions business. The role will work with teams in Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Sacramento offices to scale our presence across core and specialty practices. This hybrid role can be based in Irvine, Los Angeles, or San Francisco and reports to the West Region Health Market Sales Leader. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed Health Solutions sales goals in California markets; own annual target and pipeline. Drive channel management strategy, execution, and coaching for Health Solutions new and expanded sales through Account Executives, Producers, Specialty Practice Leaders, and Third‑party originators as applicable. Manage performance of Health Solutions producers in the markets in partnership with Resident Sales Directors, Resident Managing Directors, and Local Practice Leaders. Recruit health-focused producers, especially in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Create sales plays that highlight Aon’s differentiators to drive revenue expansion in California markets. Coordinate and execute marketing events and sales follow‑up action plans with Marketing personnel and Local Practice Leaders. Make targeted outreach calls, spark interest with potential clients, and secure meetings or presentations. Develop sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address complex prospects and communicate the business value of our solutions. Lead complex account opportunities from identification through close, guiding pricing negotiations, facilitating product discussions, and securing favorable outcomes. Perform market research and analysis to uncover client needs, target new accounts, identify expansion opportunities, and broaden the book of business. Design and deliver sales skills‑building programs to enhance channel members’ abilities. Administer leadership cadence of Health Solutions Sales Operations, including: Pipeline analysis and reporting Sales credit allocations Coach and present introductory and finalist meetings. Conduct post‑mortem analyses on wins and losses. Qualifications Ten or more years of healthcare sales experience. Consulting experience preferred. Superior communication and presentation skills. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Compensation The salary range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 annually. The actual salary may vary based on education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data. The position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive plan for discretionary bonus and production incentives.
