Production OperatorPay Range: $18-25hr 2nd | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 3rd | Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AMJob OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support production operations by ensuring equipment runs efficiently while producing high-quality products with minimal waste or rejections. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing in-process quality checks, supporting equipment cleaning and changeovers, and assisting with basic troubleshooting activities.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate packaging equipment during production runs while following safety and quality standardsPerform operator duties within the work center, including: In-process quality inspectionsManual filling and packagingLoading machinery with componentsAssist Mechanics with basic equipment set-ups and changeoversCommunicate effectively with Mechanics, Process Coordinators, and Supervisors to ensure smooth production flowDisassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment according to cleaning and line clearance proceduresAssist with equipment cleaning, inspection, and preparation activitiesPerform line clearance of components and product massIdentify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues and assist in resolving failure modesNotify Supervisors, Process Coordinators, and Mechanics of component shortages or operational concernsProvide detailed shift crossover communication to incoming operatorsMonitor attainment boards and production efficiency goalsComplete production and operational paperwork accurately and timelyQualificationsPrevious manufacturing or packaging experience preferredMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to follow GMP, safety, and quality proceduresStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift materials as neededHigh attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
