Pay: $50-55k annually Schedule: Full- Time, Hybrid (M-Th: In office & F: Remote), 9-5p Reports to: HR Director Are you passionate about helping people, solving problems, and making the employee experience better? Jarc is looking for an enthusiastic, organized people focused HR Specialist to join our team and partner with our leadership in supporting employees and managers throughout the employment experience. From supporting employees through leave and workplace accommodations to helping managers navigate HR processes, you will play an important role in making HR accessible, responsive and supportive. What You Will Do: Employee Relations: Conduct workplace investigations, document routine matters, assist with performance management and corrective action processes, and escape complex issues. Provide coaching and development for managers and employees regarding performance expectations. Leave Administration: Coordinate leave requests, track documentation and deadlines, maintain leave records, and assist with FMLA and other applicable leave processes. Coordinate with managers on process expectations, and communication with employee Workers Compensation: Coordinate injury reports, claim documentation, carrier communications, work status updates, and return to work tracking Work Restrictions & Workplace Accommodations: Manage medical restrictions documentation, assist with the interactive process, track accommodations, and support return to work process under company policy and HR Director direction. HR Compliance: Maintain compliance trackers, assist with audits, support policy acknowledgements, and prepare documentation for licensing/subpoena requests, etc. General HR Support: Answer routine HR/Payroll questions, assist managers with HR processes, and provide support on special projects assigned by the HR Director. Required Skills: Associate's degree in business/human services, or aPHR/PHR preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and workplace investigations. As well as experience administering leave/ADA programs. Proficiency with HRIS systems (Paycom experience preferred) and Microsoft Office suite. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience advising supervisors and managers on employee performance, coaching, and workplace issues. Experience conducting or supporting employee investigations and documenting findings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
