MEP Engineer

A reputable and growing engineering firm on Long Island is seeking a motivated MEP Engineer with HVAC and plumbing design experience to join our collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on project experience across a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, and residential projects. Responsibilities Design and layout of HVAC and plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment selection Develop plans and specifications using AutoCAD and/or Revit Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines Conduct site visits and assist with construction administration Ensure designs comply with NYS and local building codes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3-25+ years of MEP design experience (HVAC and plumbing required) Proficiency in AutoCAD experience preferred Knowledge of NYS building codes and industry standards EIT certification preferred (or on track to obtain) Strong communication and organizational skills What We Offer Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Mentorship and professional development support Opportunity to work on high-profile Long Island and NYC-area projects Collaborative and supportive work environment If you’re looking to grow your career with a well-established firm that values technical excellence and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.
